Reverse engineering, from one sample to a new part
When a machine is down and the part is no longer imported, a single sample is enough to start. We have rebuilt parts from worn originals, broken pieces and parts with no drawing at all.
How it works
Each step is confirmed with you before the next one starts, so there are no surprises at the end.
- We measure the sample and record every functional dimension
- A CAD model is built, with worn surfaces restored to their original form
- Where the part carries load, the section is reviewed before any tooling is made
- We make the pattern, pour the casting and machine it
- The finished part is checked against your sample before dispatch
Engineering behind it
Our engineering is led by a materials and mechanics engineer, so a reverse-engineered part is not simply copied. Where the original failed early, the material or the section can be reconsidered with you.
What makes a good sample
Even a broken or worn part is usable. Send what you have, along with the machine or vehicle it belongs to and what went wrong with it, and we will tell you honestly whether it can be reproduced.
Questions customers ask
What if my part is broken or badly worn?
That is the usual case. We restore worn surfaces in the CAD model and, where both halves exist, work from the pieces together.
Do I need a drawing?
No. If you have one it saves time, but the sample itself is enough.
Can you improve on the original part?
Often, yes. If the original kept failing, we can look at the material or the section thickness and discuss a change with you before any tooling is made.
Tell us what you need made.
A drawing, a CAD file or a worn sample part is enough to start. We are in Korangi, Karachi, and we answer on WhatsApp.
